St Johns Bites Restaurant Promotion

St John’s Boosters launched an online version of St Johns Bites last September, 2020, garnering terrific response from neighbors and regular shoppers. Organizers ask for Instagram photos to be tagged with the name of the business and to use the hashtag #stjohnsbites.

Involving Instagram and a simple ask for patrons to post a photo of food or drinks, the restaurant promotion garnered over 100 entries last year so the Boosters pulled out a sequel for Spring 2021.

SMART Incentive to play: Three winners are selected each Tuesday with recipients collecting a $50 gift certificate from the business in the photo.

This shared promotion organized by the business district association is simple to create, monitor and reward. Promotional pictures market each business separately yet the district collectively gets recognition.
